Fruit and Victory! Praise God!

 California's Department of Education has quietly removed ISLAM: A Simulation from their "approved" list at their website http://www.cde.ca.gov/cfir/lc. These were the handouts that told children that for six weeks they would BECOME Muslims. 

Get out the balloons, confetti, party hats and horns and PRAISE THE LORD! 

Suzanne C. Rios, Administrator of the Curriculum Framework and Instructional Resources Office for the Calif. State Dept. of Education, has confirmed that Islam: A Simulation handouts have been removed.

Schools, this means that if you use these handouts, you will be on your own and liable. And there are many free Christian legal organizations ready to protect Christian children from this attack on religious freedom. Still plaguing our nation are the Houghton Mifflin textbooks.  I spoke with another government official with the California State Department of Education on June 13, 2003 for an update on the issue of the Houghton Mifflin textbook. The textbook was approved in 1999 and that approval remains in effect until 2005. I was reminded that the public had the opportunity to review the textbook prior to their approval process.

It is very sad that parents are being held accountable for what we pay government officials to do. Apparently I had the opportunity to drive all the way to Sacramento (5 hours away) in 1999 to review my son's future textbook (4 years in advance) and make any objections then.

I never dreamed California would be funding a textbook, the only one that carried the state's approval, that taught our children whitewashed beliefs of Islam as fact.

Yet with this victory over the handouts together with the victories over partial birth abortion, and hopefully with the future victories over all murder of human life in the womb, just maybe God, in His mercy, will grant our nation more time...

On the other hand, the Mental Health Association is threatening to change the definition of pedophilia, reversing it as a mental health issue. If this continues, pedophilia will be classified as a "choice" and heinous choices are protected by the ACLU. There are many seeking to make pedophilia and pornography socially acceptable and a norm.

NOTHING tries God's patience as much as killing and corrupting children. The end times will come, just like Jesus described, but I believe our prayers and obedience (or lack of) has an impact on how soon, just as it always has in the history of the Bible.

Thankfully, God is in control and it's up to HIM when judgment will come. I believe we're on the brink. Please continue to pray for those that do not know God and whose eternities are hanging in the balance.
