3/16 PRAY, but do not panic,
God has a
plan.

The
Arab website Al-Jazeera was hacked and replaced with the American flag and
the words "Let Freedom Ring." Most cheered and some booed. But soon after,
pornography followed the flag. One would think two separate hackings took
place but the analogy is true. Under the protection of a misconstrued
concept of "freedom", sexual perversion, immorality, homosexuality taught to
children, the slaughter of infants for sexual "freedom" has become a byway
of America because we, the people, voted for leaders like Clinton and Gov. Davis. We, the people, close our eyes as principalities ravage our
nation. We, the people, give over our sons and daughters rather than risk
being perceived as "intolerant."
If we, the people, do not repent, we will pay the consequences. It's already
begun. Pray for God's mercy and revival. The end times are coming, but with
revival, perhaps God will grant us more time.
3/20 (start of the war)
I cringe every time I hear our troops on
the news, boasting about what a mighty power we are in ourselves, rolling
into Iraq. I pray they stop calling themselves "the white devils." They put
themselves in danger. This is NOT a time to give all glory to tanks, bullets
and brass. This is a time to humble ourselves and pray. If there is to be
any glory, it will be by God's mercy. I don't care how many Iraqi's are
surrendering or how well it is going. We need God with us.
"And you his son, O Belshazzar, have
not humbled your heart, though you knew all this. But have lifted
up yourself against the Lord of heaven; ...and you have praised
the gods of silver, and gold, of brass, iron, wood, and stone,
which see not, nor hear, nor know: and the God in whose hand thy
breath is, and whose are all your ways, have you not glorified:
Then was the part of the hand sent from him; and this writing
was written. And this is the writing that was written,
MENE, MENE,
TEKEL, UPHARSIN.
This is
the interpretation of the thing:
MENE, God hath numbered your kingdom, and finished
it.
TEKEL;
You are weighed in the balances,
and are found wanting.
PERES; Thy
kingdom is divided,
and given to the Medes
and Persians."

For the love of God, praise God while you can.
As I watch the bombs streak across the night sky
towards Iraq, I'm reminded of what the apostle John described when
he prophesied the end times in Revelation that "the stars of heaven
fell unto the earth" and "the sky rolling up like a scroll." Ever
notice how those mushroom bombs roll up like a scroll? How the
falling bombs look just like the stars? How our helicopters would
look like locusts to a man like John. These would have been a good
description of current war activities coming from a man like John in
his time.
The writing is on the wall. I don't believe this
is the end of American soil during the "war on Iraq," but it's
coming. And I very much fear for our troops in Iraq. The boasting of
our own strength, the applause that *President Bush gave to our
military after Afghanistan without ONE word of thanks to God in his
public address, puts our troops in direct danger. We do not want to
be in Iraq without God's hand of protection on our sons and
daughters. Pray for our troops, pray for God's mercy, pray we stop
going in as "the white devils." America, pray.
* 3/28: I understand President Bush can only go so
far without losing the favor of America. I am so grateful that
President Bush has done as much as he has. But I've also read in the
Bible how important it is to give glory to God when God has blessed.
Will God continue to bless us when we claim all glory ourselves, as
we did after Afghanistan?
This is not a game, faith is not imagined or a philosophy, God is
absolute reality, and our actions have direct consequences.
I am so thankful for President Bush. I pray God
gives him the courage to give God the glory when God blesses. Follow
God, not the polls. May God's will be done.
