Christian Educators Association International On July 19 2003, Dr. Daniel Elliott, Vice Chairman of CEAI wrote: "If we were truly a Christian nation, as we Christians wish we were (but never were) even then, a mandated devotional curriculum would be a terrible thing-- just look at the history of Israel from the Old Testament." Any believer can see for themselves the enormity of  that statement in multiple ways. The obedience of God's chosen people in the Old Testament was not "terrible." Kings who tore down false idols throughout their land were not "terrible" in the eyes of any believers that I know. I long to post so much more of the communication between CEAI and myself, but this is all that God wills to be posted.  Not because it's true, but to show the shifting sand of the leadership of CEAI.
