I am a Viet Nam Vet and I just wanted to
say thank you for your thoughts.
It was nice of you to put them on the
web.
I would also like to say, and I think I
am speaking for a lot Vets, if the pain we felt when we came back
because of the way we were treated keeps
other war veterans from being treated in that manner, it was
worth it. These young people today are
our sons and daughters and as a father I would suffer any pain or
indignity to keep my son or daughter
from having to do so.
Every time I see a welcome home
celebration or participate in one I can't help to think that some
good has finally come from that damned war.
