Judge Phyllis Hamilton ruled that a woman's right to
have an abortion is paramount, and that it is 'irrelevant' whether the
unborn child suffers pain in the process of partial birth abortion,
according to AgapePress.

Hamilton has also ruled in favor of public school curriculum
inclusion of a student guide: "From the beginning you and your
classmates will become Muslims," choosing a Muslim name, dressing up
as Arabs, reciting lines from a Muslim prayer such as:
"In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful. Praise be
to Allah, Lord of Creation, The Compassionate, the Merciful, King of
Judgment day! You alone we worship, and to You alone we pray for
help, Guide us to the straight path."
*(the court document changed
"Allah" to "God" but the actual handout says "Allah")
Also,
making group banners that state the words, "In the name of Allah, the
Merciful, the Compassionate," requires students to give up
something, (lunch, television, candy) in demonstration of fasting for
Ramadan, requires students to volunteer community service in
conformance with Muslim requirements (by Hamilton’s own words, this is
CONFORMANCE, and in this context is to the glory of Allah).
Also included is a "pilgrimage to Mecca" game with dice and
"Wisdom" cards such as:
"The Qu’ran...is God’s third revelation
that was revealed to Prophet Muhammad" or
"The Holy Qu’ran is
God’s word as revealed to Prophet Muhammad through the Archangel
Gabriel"
without any qualifying language such as "Muslims believe." To
get the answer "right" one had to answer that this was "true."
However, Hamilton ruled: "Given the context in which the cards were
used, no objective observer could conclude that the cards endorsed
Islam."
Students were required to write an essay with the instruction, "BE
CAREFUL HERE – if you do not have something positive to say, don’t say
anything!" thus supporting Islam.
Thomas More Law Center filed the lawsuit dismissed by Hamilton. The
student in the lawsuit stated, "I never did anything in class
that made me think I was engaging in prayer of any kind." This
child refused to accept the prayer he was asked to recite. But
because he denounced belief in it, Hamilton ruled it as appropriate.
The student’s little sister opted out of the class and the teacher
flunked her on her independent study for which the teacher "didn’t
have time."
Hamilton further states "the students’ subjective lack of spiritual
intent further demonstrates that the activities in question cannot
objectively be considered "religious activity" and cited cases that
BlessedCause is investigating for a future post.
These religious practices "are unconstitutional if it has the
primary effect of either endorsing or disapproving of any religion."
Hamilton circumvents this issue by citing a case that states,
"activity must be considered ‘as a whole in the context of the entire
curriculum." Therefore, Hamilton’s claims, asking children to memorize
prayer to Allah is merely a "coincidental resemblance to a religious
practice" that "does not have the primary effect of endorsing
religion."
Hamilton blatantly ruled that the parents presented no evidence
that these activities were motivated other than a "purely secular
purpose of instructing Islamic culture and history." Meanwhile,
parents in different parts of California have reported that teachers
had asked students to perform the prayer on their hands and knees, but
this is not an issue for the Court.
Hamilton cites a Supreme Court ruling that the Ten Commandments are
unconstitutional because it endorses Christianity. Hamilton argues, "Here, in contrast,
the primary purpose of the Islam module was the secular goal of
educating students about Islamic culture. Thus, even the display of
religious texts in a purely secular context will survive."
So the Ten Commandments are out, "In the name of Allah, the Merciful,
the Compassionate" is in. What a welcome home for our American troops,
especially the ones returning to the town near Detroit, with calls
to Islamic prayer five times a day. But did they read today’s
public school textbook? It says, "Assume you are a Muslim soldier." Maybe they are
just confused as to what uniform to wear.
IMPEACH HAMILTON, and all liberal judges that outrageously
betray our religious freedom and legitimate national heritage!

Thomas More Law Center has
been valiantly battling this lawsuit and many like it. I shudder to
think of where we would be without organizations like this protecting

Blessedcause is receiving emails asking HOW to impeach Hamilton and how
can we help? Christian and conservative organizations need to unite
on this issue. All persons and organizations are welcome to join.
