Where are the two witnesses?
          8/16/11
          Where are the
          two witnesses
of Revelation 11? I have not seen anything like locusts
that torment us for five months like scorpions. I have not seen a
third of the trees and all grass burn up. There is so much that has
not happened yet beginning with the sixth seal, but especially, the two witnesses, who are to
prophesy for one thousand two hundred and sixty days before other
          events take place.
So perhaps I am completely wrong, because the Lord didn't tell me
directly that it was so like He has other things, and if it doesn’t line up
with Scripture, how can it be? It can’t. And I am relieved.
But what happened 25 years ago, happened. And when I prayed about
it and felt compelled to post about it, and resisted it, a morning
halo appeared over the church as I struggled. I almost fell over as
I looked up and the first time I saw it, the cross was right before
it. There I was, struggling and wrestling about posting about a halo,
          and a halo appears.
And my son goes to Rome and
another "morning halo" appears over the
city where he wakes on his first day back. And it dawns on me that the
          sun IS a star…morning star?

He who overcomes, Christ will give a
morning star? Jesus also IS the Morning Star…I could go round and
round with this, and with other details.

At least I'm in good company, Jeremiah sometimes needed confirmation
          as well (Jeremiah 32:8)

There has been so many events in my life that point me to this
conclusion, but I come back to the fact that there are no witnesses dressed in sackcloth tormenting  the
whole world that I can see. There is much that happens before
Revelation 12. Therefore I don’t think what I have been concerned about lines up
with Scripture, therefore I must be wrong.
I won’t know until I see Him face to face, then, why that
          day
happened 25 years ago, or why certain things are happening now. All I
know is to praise Him, to trust Him, to thank Him for being in our
lives, in all of our lives, because even if so much that I have
written doesn’t add up to the timeline, there is still so many
prophesies that are coming true. Christ is coming. Hopefully soon.
Some people say they hear Him all the time. Oh how I wish He would
talk to me that way. In my experience, I heard Him the loudest and the
clearest when I was first born again, and it feels like He's been
expecting me to catch on with less all the time. He is closer when I'm
brokenhearted, and when I'm not, I almost wish I was just to sense His
presence that close. All I know is to praise His holy name and press in.
To try to share who He is with
neighbors, family and friends. "For God so loved the world, that he
gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not
          perish, but have everlasting life."
"But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have
fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son
cleanseth us from all sin. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive
ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is
faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all
          unrighteousness."  1 John 1:7
All praise and glory are His. Amen.
